St. Valentine
Feast Day: February 14
Patron of: Love, happy marriages, against fainting, bee keepers
Although not much is certain about St. Valentine, many agree that he was an early Christian martyr. A Roman by birth, he’s believed to have been arrested for marrying Christian couples whom the Emperor was persecuting. The Emperor befriended the priest, but when St. Valentine tried to convert him, the Christian was condemned to death and brutally killed.
St. Valentine shows that love can be transformative. His celebration of marriage and friendliness towards the Emperor who eventually had him killed show a charitable heart. Ask St. Valentine for help when you need to show an extra amount of love.
