St. Raphael the Archangel
Feast Day: September 29
Patron of: Doctors and nurses, happy meetings, matchmakers, lovers, the blind, and travelers
St. Raphael is known as a healer of both physical and spiritual tribulations. He’s featured in the Old Testament as a guide and soothing leader sent to Tobit. Raphael’s also honored with St. Michael and St. Gabriel as being the only angels identified by name in sacred Scripture.
Look to St. Raphael for soothing, healing, or guidance. The archangel is often called on to provide guidance for lovers or healing to the infirm, both ways he helped humans in the Old Testament.
