St. Jude Thaddeus
Feast Day: October 28
Patron of: Lost causes, desperate situations, and hospitals
St. Jude was a farmer who became one of the Twelve Apostles. After receiving the Holy Spirit as fire at Pentecost, St. Jude went on to preach the Gospel in Judea, Syria and Libya, among other places.
St. Jude is known as the patron of last resort. When you’re going through tough times or face a difficult decision, St. Jude can help you find a solution or the courage to accept God’s will. St. Jude’s strength and zealous determination are examples of how far faith can take us.
