St. James the Less
Feast Day: May 3
Patron of: Druggists, apothecaries, those who are dying
St. James is one of the Twelve Apostles. St. James went on to preach the Gospel across the ancient world, ending in Egypt. He was beaten to death with clubs, becoming a martyr like most of the other apostles.
St. James is an example of perseverance in the face of danger. Ask him for the courage to face threats, or if you need consistency in your “yes” to God’s will.
