St. Andrew
Feast Day: November 30
Patron of: Fishermen, Russia, Scotland
St. Andrew was an early follower of St. John the Baptist before joining Christ’s apostles. He later brought his brother Simon along to Christ; Simon also became an apostle. St. Andrew is greatly respected as a dependable, devout, humble man. His fierce faith was tempered by hard work and quiet devotion to God.
St. Andrew can strengthen your backbone if you have to do something unpleasant. His consistent, soft-spoken faith serves as an example for anyone who desires to find humility and self-worth in their ordinary tasks.
